(February 2011 – Present)

As head of global product marketing strategy, I oversaw a team of six direct and 15+ indirect global and regional marketing leaders and innovated processes responsible for selecting, prioritizing, and aligning the business functions and regions around our most important global and seasonal product stories that drive $4.2B in global revenue.

Leveraging deep consumer insights and market awareness, we inspired audiences with relevant and compelling storytelling. I also led the development of integrated global marketing strategies, frameworks, and campaigns that empower local marketing teams, in regions around the world, to attract new consumers, convert buyers to loyalists, and reward our most faithful.

While simultaneously overseeing Vans’ global integrated marketing for skateboarding, I spearheaded and introduced the Vans Park Series, professional skateboarding's first/only park terrain world championship tour. In addition to defining a new and exciting discipline, it also established global sport organization for men’s and women’s competitions and served as proof-of-concept to IOC and IF governing skateboarding’s 2020 Olympic Games introduction in Tokyo and 2024 Olympic Games acceptance in Paris.

As director of global integrated marketing for Vans Skateboarding, I was recruited to provide the global vision and strategy for Vans' core performance product category and establish control-related processes and procedures to build and maintain a best-in-class global action sports brand and product marketing platform.

Key Achievements:

Initiated and led worldwide re-branding for Vans’ core footwear product category.

Restructured global category product line architecture and line presentation to fit elevated category positioning and GTM strategy driving deliberate and significant year over year global category revenue increases to date.

In 2016, created the world's first and only park terrain skateboarding world championship points ranking system, the Vans Park Series, to define the discipline and foundation for global park terrain skateboarding competition and secured recognition from skateboarding's Olympic governing body, paving the way for 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics introduction.

Executive Producer of Vans PROPELLER, the iTunes 2015 "Top 10 Most-downloaded" documentary and Vans first-ever feature-length global skateboard film. Winner of "Video of the Year" and "Video Part of the Year" (TransWorld Skateboarding Magazine), "Years Best Skate Video" (The Skateboard Mag) and numerous other awards.
